8. Teeth with silver cone 

For many years, dentists used the silver point for sealing the root canal. This technique fell into disuse because of the great cases failure rates. Many clients, nowadays, come to the office with this kind of obturation trying to "save" the tooth condemned by the silver pointers presence.  The retreatment in these cases is quite complicated (the removal of silver point has to be done with special instruments and use of microscope). 

The case shows that it is possible to retreat teeth successfully obturated with silver cone. It was not need to extract the tooth and place an implant!
